Welcome to the StarPoint Mechanical website. By accessing this website or engaging our HVAC services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Scope of Services
StarPoint Mechanical provides HVAC installation, repair, maintenance, and air quality services for residential, commercial, and industrial clients in North Georgia. All services are subject to a formal estimate or service order, which outlines the specific scope of work to be performed.
2. Estimates and Pricing
Validity: Quotes and estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Adjustments: If hidden defects or unforeseen structural issues (e.g., rotted subflooring, non-code-compliant electrical) are discovered during the project, StarPoint Mechanical reserves the right to adjust the final price after discussing the necessary changes with the client.
Taxes: All applicable local and state taxes will be added to the final invoice.
3. Payments and Collections
Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the service unless prior financing or net-terms have been established in writing.
Late Fees: Invoices unpaid after 30 days may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month.
Deposits: Large installations or custom-ordered equipment (such as specific industrial units) may require a down payment before work begins.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We value our technicians’ time and our clients’ schedules.
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Failure to provide notice or “no-show” appointments may be subject to a standard dispatch/diagnostic fee.
5. Warranties and Guarantees
Labor Warranty: StarPoint Mechanical stands behind our craftsmanship. We provide a [Insert Number, e.g., 1-year] warranty on labor for new installations.
Manufacturer Warranty: Equipment (AC units, furnaces, air purifiers) is covered by the manufacturer’s specific warranty. We will assist clients in registering their products to ensure maximum coverage.

6. Access to Property
The client agrees to provide StarPoint Mechanical technicians with safe access to the HVAC equipment, including attics, crawlspaces, and rooftops. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure pets are secured, and the work area is clear of personal belongings.
7. Limitation of Liability
StarPoint Mechanical is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the HVAC system. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of StarPoint Mechanical and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use of this material is prohibited.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Gwinnett County or Hall County, GA.
